James Clemens is een pseudoniem van de Amerikaanse schrijver James Paul Czajkowski. Clemens is het pseudoniem dat hij gebruikt om fantasy boeken te schrijven, zijn andere pseudoniem is James Rollins waarmee hij thrillers schrijft. Alle boeken zijn ook vertaald in het Nederlands. Ik lees hier en daar wat discussies of zijn laatste serie na Hinterland ooit nog een vervolg krijgt, maar dat is tot nu toe niet bekend.
